We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our growing R&D Team. The position is at our EControls facility located in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Use programming and scripting knowledge to provide engineering analysis and support to engineers and project team members
- Write embedded C/C++ code for engine controllers, IoT gateways, and other electromechanical devices
- Produce defect-free software while balancing execution efficiency, memory consumption, and maintainability
- Analyze problems and recommend practical solutions with flair for design to both customers and other engineers
- Establish and maintain software libraries/tools for use in embedded platforms
- Develop interdisciplinary skills and application knowledge to support software feature definition and product development
- Exercise professional discretion in judgment, customer service, and time management
- Interact with customers and colleagues by answering software-related questions
- Maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Ten or more years of experience writing Embedded Software
BS or MS in applicable discipline such as Computer Engineering or CS
