This is a HYBRID – CONTRACT role located in Cleveland, Ohio. Onsite requirement as needed.
Job Title: Firmware Engineer(BLE/Wifi)

Experience level: 4+ Years
An applicant with significant experience in application, framework, network protocol (WiFi, BLE esp.) stack, and driver/FW code as this position is more of a developer job.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Looking for a resource on short / long term need bases, work as an individual contributor
- Working experience in WiFi covering 802.11 ax/ac/ay/ad, Bluetooth(BTC/BLE) covering different profiles
- Experience in connectivity technology validation in protocol and performance characterization
- Experience with WiFi, BT packet sniffers like – iPerf, Wireshark, tcpdump, Btool, Ellisys etc
- Experience in traffic generators tools like – iGen, Ixia Chariot, iPerf, etc.
- Shall be able to capture, analyze / review sniffer logs, address problem areas
- Experience in application, framework, network protocol (WiFi, BLE esp.) stack, driver/FW code. Key performance measurements
- Core hands-on development with understanding at Wifi chip level interface to processor.
- Should be able to work at Wifi driver layer.
- Knowledge about power optimization is preferred.
