Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity with the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control working with a Data Analytics team that is building Build Data Infrastructure and applying Machine Learning techniques to find Anomalies in large data sets.
A person in this role is a software engineer who developments, integrates, and works deployment for software solutions which are primarily enabled by machine learning technologies.
This role encompasses both ML application development in the cloud and embedded systems as well as associated ML Ops technologies.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates filling this position will need US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Security Clearance at the level specified.
In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.
– Experience having successfully developed, matured, and deployed Machine Learning solutions to solve real business and technical problems.
– Experience designing and developing ML models and a knowledge of the frameworks and deep learning tools (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
– DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy.
Desired skills
– 4+ years experience working and leading Machine Learning based projects.
– Experience with Airflow, Kubeflow and other ML Ops/Dev Ops technologies
– Experience having led technical teams through multiple phases of development.
– Understand the technical risks associated with Machine Learning based solutions and factor mitigating strategies into project planning.
– Strong problem solving mindset with the ability to create solutions to difficult problems often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, ambiguous or incomplete data on a rapid schedule.
– The ability to lay out technical roadmaps and communicate those plans and solutions to both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
