JOB DESCRIPTION: – 2 Openings on-site one in Colorado Springs and one in Austin, TX
Our client is an innovative semiconductor manufacturer creating customized and off-the-shelf specific semiconductors for consumers and specified clients working in ultra-low power and wireless frequencies. They are looking for talented Embedded Software Engineers to join their growing team.
Perform system analysis, specification, design, coding, verification, evaluation, characterization, debug, and documentation of complex embedded software for modern integrated circuitry. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary stakeholders inside the company as well as with customers throughout the product development and life cycle.
PROFILE:
Education: Preferred BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or MS from established university. Minimum 4-10 years’ experience working in a similar function. To be considered for this position, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required skills and knowledges:
- Good knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, QP/C, …)
- Expert level in C/C++ languages, and good knowledge in Python scripting
- Clear written and spoken communication
- FW development on bare-metal, writing drivers (SPI, I2C,…), interfacing with sensors
- Embedded systems design, implementation, and test
- Experience with modern development tools (Git, Azure Devops, JIRA, Kitware Cmake, …)
Preferred additional experience:
- Wireless protocols (Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, …) –
This is going to be a big plus! * Low-power product development
- Successful consumer product development
- Embedded systems testing (black box, unit, functional)
- Medical, automotive, or V-cycle methodology experience
Physical demands:
- Some travel to customer sites and/or headquarters, in Switzerland (EM Microelectronic, SA) may be required, 2-3 times per year max.
