Job Description

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems is seeking an IT Program Manager to oversee our ReVAMP program in Beavercreek, OH. ReVAMP is the next generation of Northrop Grumman’s proven RePLACE virtualization technology. ReVAMP virtualizes the hardware running existing software, bringing the advantages of enterprise virtualization and layers of cyber hardening to embedded systems designed for platforms investing in the development or sustainment of real-time embedded systems. It allows customers to insulate themselves from hardware changes, enables legacy systems to meet current cyber security standards, and allows for the addition of new mission capabilities. ReVAMP is currently supporting multiple programs across the DOD to Include Air Force and Navy.

The Program Manager will have joint responsibilities – Managing a team of approximately 15 IT Embedded Systems Engineers. Business development – identify and maintain active liaison with all key customers associated with individual opportunities and performs ongoing assessments of requirements.

  • Provide management, direction, administration, and leadership of program execution, acting as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the effort
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities internally and externally
  • Manage a team of IT Engineers to include Embedded, Software, and Systems Engineers
  • Lead in delivering presentations to customers, management and other program and product stakeholders
  • Manage acquisition and employment of project resources, and control financial and administrative aspects of the project
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities and perform customer value analysis
  • Measuring and reporting program and product performance
  • Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience or a Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience, or High School diploma / equivalent with 14 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 5 years Program Management experience or similar Military experience
  • Ability to lead Business Development / Capture Management
  • Experience with supervising IT Engineering.
  • Experience supporting annual long range strategic plans
  • Experience with project budgeting, and scheduling
  • Experience with risk assessment/mitigation, with on-time delivery
  • Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Military or DOD experience with either Hardware or Software upgrade/modernization
  • Ability to build a qualified pipeline to meet growth objectives
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with customers both internally and externally
  • Evaluate, select, and prepare opportunities for interest and pursuit decisions
  • Experience with program and team leadership

Salary Range: $134,400.00 – $201,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
